Ms Right Now

Plutonium Playhouse presents
a Forerunner Playwrights’ Theatre premiere production of

MS. RIGHT NOW by Natasha MacLellan

MS. RIGHT NOW tells the story of Alison, a studious second year law student, who looks forward to being somebody, someday. Her world gets turned upside down when she moves in with the dazzling Lindsay, who introduces her to a whole new side of university life- where there are no rules, no taboos and no concerns. Through Lindsay, Alison ‘loosens up’ and gets closer to Rob, the object of her desire. But when Rob posts nude pictures of Alison on the Internet, she gets a rude awakening and must face the consequences of her choices and figure out how one overcomes losing themselves so publicly and permanently.

Forerunner Playwrights’ Theatre has an impressive history of staging daring, exciting works. From award winning show NAKED by Lisa Rose Snow (Bronze Award for Best Theatre Production, The Coast’s Best of Halifax 2011), to scripts that have gone on to high acclaim like BONE CAGE by Catherine Banks (Governor General’s Award Winner), they have not shied award from taking risks and making choices. Their upcoming production does just that, exploring raunch culture and the uglier side of the Internet.

This is a Canadian Actors Equity approved Independent Artists Policy Production. We are grateful for the support of the Nova Scotia Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage, the MacLennan Foundation and the Craig Foundation.
